Sierra Wireless "Best In Class" Winner

LiveCast was named the "Best in Class" winner in the Sierra Wireless and Wavefront Developer Program. The nomination pitted LiveCast against 48 other competitors from 11 different countries. Read more.

LiveCast Launches Lightning SDI at NAB

April 2009 - LiveCast was the featured technology at Verizon's booth at the National Association of Broadcaster (NAB) conference, the perfect spot to launch our new LiveCast Lightning SDI professional studio solution. Lightning offers LiveCast customers like NBC, live video streaming from the field to studio with ultra low latency, real time switching of incoming feeds, and high quality SDI output direct to live TV broadcast or web delivery. Introducing Cutting Edge Enhancements to LiveCast Lightning

Responding to requests from our valued customers, LiveCast Lightning Duo is an add-on application designed as a hybrid between video conferencing type functionality and traditional live Webcasting. Learn more.

Additionally, we've just released LiveCast Lightning Dispatch. It provides real-time monitoring and switching of multiple incoming video streams into a master feed available for high quality "live to air" TV broadcasting or web publishing. Learn more.

First Live Streaming from Mobile to Facebook

August 2009 - LiveCast is the first provider to deliver live video streaming from a phone to Facebook. This means that once you set up Facebook Connect with LiveCast, you can stream live from your mobile device, PC, Mac, or any other platform that LiveCast supports, direct to your Facebook page. To add to the cool factor (and only from LiveCast), if your friends browse Facebook on their phones, they can watch the live stream there too! Read more.

First WiMAX Streaming from Phone with Yota Network

February 2009 - LiveCast was invited to join Intel at the prestigious Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. There, LiveCast demonstrated the first ever live streaming from a WiMAX phone (HTC MAX 4G) in partnership with WiMAX operator Yota. In a broader technology demonstration, which included participation from over 16 WiMAX operators located in major cities around the world, LiveCast-ready mobile phones, netbooks, PCs, MIDs and security cams showcased high-quality live video from their respective countries, all tracked on a global map using GPS. The ultimate music consumer site, Billboard.com, recently turned to LiveCast to provide a fan-generated live mobile streaming program featuring AT&T Nokia E71 mobile phones.
