What is a location label?
Location label is a shortcut of maximum 20 charcters for the address or location that you select.
You may want to have multiple locations set up in your profile, so at the time of livecasting the labels would help you quickly identify and assign a pre-defined location to your livecast.
Example
You might want to assign a label "Botanical" to "VanDusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC."
About Email Confirmation
How does the confirmation work?
LiveCast requires all users to provide a valid email address as both a safety precaution and as a means of preserving the integrity of the site against SPAM and Bots.
Upon creating an account, an email will be sent with an account activation link to the email address you provide.
Clicking on the link lets LiveCast know there’s a real person at the email address and activates your LiveCast account.
LiveCast appreciates your privacy and does not allow harvesting or distribution of personal information, including email addresses.

What else do I need?
Aside from having an active LiveCast account, you will need to download the LiveCast software to your device, and input your username and password where indicated.
To download the software, log in to your online account from your device, go to Get Software and select the appropriate version of LiveCast to download.
You will also require an internet connection capable of transmitting data (WiMAX, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, or ethernet).
